LUISA AMADIO

My husband’s favorite dish at dolce is the penne with chicken. the sauce is creamy with just a hint of tomato, and it’s hearty and satisfying. truly, since the chef at dolce makes all of the pasta fresh in-house, you can’t go wrong with any pasta dish. if you’re a vegetarian, the pummarola is an excellent option, as is the manicotti.

I’m not sure there is a better way to describe dinner at Dolce other than it truly was a pleasure to all of my senses. I absolutely adore this place. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was great, and the waiter was so friendly and accommodating. I love the south.

Fervent Foodie

This classic, cozy, family-run neighborhood trattoria serves up a nice mix of fresh regional Italian cuisine complemented by a tidy all-Italian wine list. The first two weeks of every month, Dolce features specials devoted to a different region in Italy. And we wish every restaurant had service this friendly and helpful.

Picture food cooked by "an old woman in an Italian village in the Alps" and you've got the number of this friendly Dilworth ristorante proffering simple, "consistently wonderful" fare in a "comfortable" setting with a "neighborhood feel"; loyalists say you'll leave "full and completely satisfied" and recommend Tuesday's homemade gnocchi as "a must."
